Andersons Ethanol Plant, Clymers, Ind.

Steinberger won the main concrete contract for this new $145 million dollar ethanol manufacturing plant in Clymers, Indiana. The project was quite challenging due to its huge size, aggressive schedule, coordination with numerous other trades working on site, and very precise layout tolerances.

Work involved installation of all of the process area floors and foundations, hundreds of lineal feet of trench drains, several thousand tons of rebar, concrete ring walls for tanks, containment walls, pits, curbs, housekeeping pads and approaches. The main project was completed in only 12 weeks, on schedule, with no accidents.
