IOSHA Certified Partner Status
Due to our long commitment to safety and our excellent record, Steinberger has achieved Certified Partner status with the Indiana Department of Labor, which exempts us from many OSHA-related inspections and regulations.
Job Site Housekeeping
As part of our ongoing safety effort, Steinberger emphasizes the importance of jobsite housekeeping. A well organized, clean job site is a safe job site, with far fewer opportunities for injury. A clean jobsite also reduces construction headaches for our clients, minimizing the interruption to your business.
Substance Abuse Prevention
All our employees are screened prior to employment, and we conduct random testing. We are a Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS) Certified Contractor. MICCS is a coalition of construction users, contractors, and associated industry formed to ensure a safe working environment, including a drug-free workplace.
Training & Certifications
Steinberger is committed to ongoing safety training. All crew members are required to be certified in Basic First Aid, CPR and OSHA 10 training. New hires participate in an intensive safety orientation before being assigned to a job site. We also conduct an annual Super Safety Training Day, emphasizing safety and wellness, in addition to regular training classes throughout the year.
