Wellness Steinberger Construction, Inc. recognizes the importance of workplace wellness, which is why we have partnered with the Wellness Council of Indiana in order to continue improving our workplace wellness program. We value the health of our employees and their families, and recognize the return on investment that a workplace wellness program offers. Through annual health risk assessments and biometric screening, along with quarterly health coaching and wellness challenges, we have been able to build a foundation in wellness, and create a wellness minded culture within our company. This culture has led to life changing transformations among valued team members and has even extended to their family members. SCI has also been recognized as an AchieveWELL 4-star recipient by the Wellness Council of Indiana. Although our main goal is for each and every team member to return home safely, we also strive to increase the livelihood of all of our team members both inside and outside of work. We place high emphasis on the following key areas in order to accomplish this goal: Encourage Tobacco Free: All team members are encouraged to live their lives tobacco free. SCI offers a tobacco incentive program, along with other methods of assistance for any team member needing support. Wellness Challenges and Events: We offer wellness challenges that focus on physical activity, nutrition, and overall personal well-being throughout each year. Additionally, we offer opportunities for team members to participate in local area 5K & 10K races free of charge. Wellness events allow us to focus on the greater good and become more involved in our community. Annual Health Screens: All participating team members complete annual health screens that focus on the following areas: BMI/Body Fat % Blood Pressure Total Cholesterol HDL/LDL Cholesterol Triglycerides Blood Sugar A1C Tobacco Use Quarterly Health Coaching: All participating team members complete quarterly health coaching with a designated health coach to answer any questions that the team member may have, as well as establish health goals for the upcoming quarter.
