All employees are required to report to work sober, alert, and well-rested. Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory, with ongoing random testing, post-incident testing, and testing upon reasonable suspicion.

Clean worksites are safe worksites. Every project begins with a customized job site management plan to maintain tidy, organized, and hazard-free work areas.

At SCI, our work culture is built on connection, whether we’re on a job site or gathering as a team. Because our work is spread across many locations, we intentionally plan events that bring everyone together. From our annual bowling night in the winter to a summer day at Indiana Beach, we create opportunities for employees and their families to engage beyond the job. We host wellness challenges and volunteer efforts, such as Earth Day cleanups, and support local orchards with seasonal gift cards. Additionally, we gather each June for a company-wide Wellness Summit, focusing on safety, education, and recognition.
