Bayer/Monsanto
Agriculture / Food, Industrial / Manufacturing | Multi-Site Program
Project
Overview
Steinberger Construction has served as a long-term partner to Bayer/Monsanto, supporting a variety of facility upgrades across multiple sites with a consistent focus on safety, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
At the core of these efforts has been the design and installation of custom machine guarding and conveyor safety systems—helping protect personnel working in high-risk areas and ensuring compliance with evolving safety standards. Steinberger also installed exterior conveyor covers to shield both product and workers from environmental elements.
To support logistical demands and continuous equipment traffic, high-strength concrete pads and access drives were poured throughout various locations. New parking lots were added to accommodate expanded staff and improve on-site circulation.
Highlights:
Ongoing industrial upgrades across multiple Bayer/Monsanto facilities
Custom machine guarding and conveyor safety systems
Fabrication and installation of exterior conveyor covers and bin access systems
High-strength concrete replacement and new parking lots for logistics support
Hoist systems and structural steel installations to support elevated work and machinery
Re-lining of product bins for preventive maintenance and equipment longevity
Ventilation upgrades with new louvers and airflow controls

Safety
First
With safety as a key driver of this multi-site initiative, Steinberger focused on delivering systems and upgrades that mitigate risk for workers and streamline compliance. From guarding and access solutions to improved environmental controls, every aspect of the work was delivered with close attention to regulatory standards and site-specific hazards.
Built For
Performance
Working in agricultural and processing environments requires durable, precision-built solutions. Steinberger fabricated and installed structural steel for facility modifications, elevated bin access, and new hoist systems—supporting both new machinery and safer operations around overhead equipment.
Product bin relining and the fabrication of custom bin doors were executed as preventive maintenance measures, minimizing future downtime and extending the life of critical storage infrastructure. Ventilation improvements, including new louvers and vent systems, enhanced airflow and improved working conditions inside enclosed process areas.
Partnership
In Action
Steinberger’s ability to self-perform a broad range of services—combined with our responsiveness and attention to detail—has made us a go-to partner for Bayer/Monsanto’s facility improvement initiatives. By delivering efficient, high-quality solutions across multiple locations, we’ve helped ensure that their operations remain safe, productive, and future-ready.
