Dykeman Clubhouse
Government / Institutional, Commercial | 5-Month Timeline | Butler® PEMB Construction
Project
Overview
Steinberger Construction partnered with the City of Logansport to design and construct a new clubhouse facility for Dykeman Golf Course—enhancing the course’s year-round service offerings and creating a dynamic community gathering space. The project was completed using a custom Butler® PEMB system, offering both design flexibility and efficient delivery within a compressed off-season schedule.
The 5-month build included a full exterior and interior package: architectural metal wall panels paired with brick veneer, a commercial-grade kitchen, a full-service bar, and advanced golf simulator bays that allow guests to enjoy the space even in the off-season. With functionality and aesthetics in mind, the project reflects Dykeman’s evolution into a modern recreational venue.

Safety
First
Despite a tight winter timeline and challenging site conditions, Steinberger maintained strict safety controls throughout the project. With daily jobsite inspections, subcontractor alignment, and weather-responsive planning, the project was completed with zero OSHA recordables and no schedule-impacting incidents.
Built For
Performance
The clubhouse was designed with performance, flexibility, and guest experience at the forefront. Butler’s PEMB system allowed for clear-span interior layouts and accelerated construction, while the envelope materials ensured long-term durability and energy efficiency.
Inside, the space supports events, dining, practice, and entertainment—all under one roof. The integration of simulator bays and a professional kitchen extends the clubhouse’s use well beyond typical seasonal limitations, creating a space that serves the community year-round.
Partnership

Steinberger worked hand-in-hand with city leadership from budgeting and design through final turnover—delivering a turnkey facility that reflects civic pride, recreational advancement, and long-term stewardship of public resources.
