Project
Overview
Steinberger Construction partnered with the City of Logansport to complete a transformative renovation of the Logansport Police Department headquarters—an 1800s-era structure protected by IDEM preservation regulations. The project demanded a careful blend of historic restoration and modern functionality to support contemporary law enforcement operations without compromising architectural integrity.
Delivered in just 10 months, the comprehensive remodel included structural updates, full system replacements, and interior reconfiguration—executed with precision to honor the original building’s character. The exterior façade, including brickwork and ornamental features, was restored in compliance with preservation guidelines, ensuring the building retained its civic identity.
Inside, the facility was reimagined to support the evolving needs of a modern police force, balancing public interface areas with secure operational zones designed for long-term use and flexibility.
