Redline Equipment Dealership

Pre-Engineered Metal Building | Dealership Facility | 45,000 SF | 12-Month Timeline

Project

Overview

Steinberger Construction (SCI) partnered with Redline Equipment to deliver a state-of-the-art dealership facility in Logansport, Indiana. The 45,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building was developed to support Redline’s expanding CASE IH equipment sales and service operations.

The structure, designed with Butler Manufacturing’s widespan framing system and galvanized truss purlins, created large equipment bays essential for maintenance and service functions. The project team included HWC Engineering for civil design and KJG Engineering for architectural and structural design.

To accommodate future growth and increased traffic, the project involved significant infrastructure improvements, including a new stormwater system, a large-volume water line for engine testing, a sprinkler main, a natural gas line, a septic system with pumping stations, and upgraded electric and communication lines. Site work also factored in future building development and a planned county road reroute.

Throughout construction, SCI maintained strict jobsite safety standards with daily and weekly inspections. With approximately 21 subcontractors involved, plus Steinberger’s concrete and steel crews, safety coordination was key to maintaining a secure work environment.

The result: Zero OSHA recordables and no jobsite accidents, demonstrating our commitment to putting people first while delivering on performance.

Built For

Performance

Despite a wet spring and procurement delays, the Redline project was completed within the 12-month timeline, ensuring operational readiness ahead of the owner’s critical planting season. The facility includes a large glass showroom, a wash bay building, service bays with in-floor hot water heating, an air-conditioned workspace, and an exterior loading dock.

Service areas feature two 5-ton bridge cranes and a 50-foot-wide hangar door to accommodate large farm equipment. These upgrades not only enhance customer service but also improve the working environment for Redline’s employees.

The finished facility is expected to boost regional sales and services while supporting job growth in the Logansport area.

Partnership

In Action

Redline Equipment’s vision of a modern, employee- and customer-focused facility was brought to life through intentional collaboration, technical excellence, and thoughtful execution. This project reflects SCI’s values of transparency, partnership, and quality craftsmanship, setting the stage for long-term operational growth and community impact.
