Overview
Steinberger Construction collaborated with the owners of the Vibrant Event Center to create a landmark facility that would serve as a centerpiece for Logansport’s growing downtown and riverfront development. The result is a 18,000+ square foot modern venue that elevates community events, celebrations, and public engagement for years to come.
Constructed using a custom Butler® PEMB system, the structure was intentionally designed to conceal its industrial roots and present a refined architectural look—merging the speed and efficiency of pre-engineered construction with aesthetic appeal worthy of its high-visibility location.
Despite challenging soil conditions along the riverbank, the project was completed on time in just 10 months. Steinberger’s team managed everything from geotechnical mitigation to final finish selection—delivering a facility that blends beauty, flexibility, and performance.

Executing deep foundation work along a riverbank and within city limits required rigorous safety protocols and environmental controls. Steinberger maintained a clean, compliant jobsite throughout construction, completing the project with no schedule-impacting incidents.

The Vibrant Event Center features expansive open-span construction, enabling seamless reconfiguration for weddings, reunions, nonprofit fundraisers, and large public gatherings. Premium finishes and adaptable amenities make the space both welcoming and operationally efficient.
To address poor subsurface conditions, the team installed a helical pier foundation system driven 15 feet to bedrock—ensuring long-term structural stability. Every detail, from thermal control to acoustics, was designed to support comfort and usability for a wide range of event types.
